Prison - gallows - modular scenery

Deep within the dungeon, a sturdy beam of iron-clad wood rises from the stone, branching out like a gallows.
Twin metal cages hang from either end, their weight pulling the structure into a tense, swaying stillness.
Chains creak softly in the gloom—one cage holds bones, the other is empty. For now…

I designed these prison cages with the goal to make the most modular (and supportless) scenery as possible.

Prisons/cages are a very versatile scenery. Players can be taken captive, a prisoner must be found and released, a creature is being detained and needs to be freed, ….

So I made two variants: one prison cage with hanging mechanism, and one without. The prisons (supportless) open by simply clicking the bottom part on and off and can be hung in the air on the beams (2 sizes: 16 cm and 10 cm) in the central beam (supportless) holding it all together.

But I did not want to stop there. I added a gallows option, one you can simply slide on and off the carryer beam.

A little stool (supportless) with a base of 1 inch/2,5 cm keeps a 38mm miniature at just the right height that his head is on the level of the rope, ready to be hung.

Playing in 28 mm scale? Scale everything down to 85%, this will be more suitable.

Pick and switch the designs you need and create your very own modular scenery. 2 hanging cages? or 2 hanging ropes? Or a cage next to the rope so the prisoner can see what is in his futur?

You can even connect different central-beams with the longer (16 cm) hanging beams and fill a whole room with prisons (or hanging ropes).
