GoPro Head Strap Mount (Amazon Basics Spare)

My original Amazon Basics GoPro Head Strap Mount had a broken GoPro mount fin so I decided to make an entire spare mount starting from sketch in Fusion 360. I checked few models for inspiration and I found this one GoPro Head Strap Mount made by barspin.

I started from Flat version because it was easier to print but I wanted a similar version as Amazon Basics one. Then I've made Rounded version which is more ergonomic for the human skull but the orientation of the print is vertical. To be honest… vertical version is still strong because of 4 walls and PETG material with strong layer adhesion.

You can print both versions to check which is better for you and your forehead shape. I personally think the rounded one might be better for you.

No worries, both versions are easy to print (at least on my X1C) despite need of support part for the Rounded version. No brim is needed if your buildplate is clean and free from fingermarks :)

Main print profile is made for Sunlu PETG because I believe this material have alot of potential against bending the GoPro Mount fins. The original Amazon Basics one had it broken because of too much bend caused by the excessive knob overtightening.

Phone Holder with GoPro mount provided by Make it work. seems to meets expectations while making videos with hands free so I can recommend this model.
