Filament guide/cleaner for AMS CFS ACE saver

This is a filament cleaning device with a print-in-place hinge and a durable clip.

After printing, insert the clip into the larger hole on one half of the filament cleaning device (the triangles on the clip should be facing the PTFE tube holder), fill the device with a sponge or microfiber cloth, and it's ready to use.

After printing, break off the two built-in supports.
Place the clip in the deeper hole.

I have added clips in three different thickness sizes to the housing models:

• FilamentCleaner_clip_1 – smallest thickness (one triangle)
• FilamentCleaner_clip_2 – medium thickness (two triangles)
• FilamentCleaner_clip_3 – largest thickness (three triangles)

Choose the clip that fits your printed cleaning device. (Let us know in the comments which clip size works for your cleaner.)

You can print it with any material you prefer. I printed mine with PETG, using:

• Layer height: 0.2 mm

• Nozzle size: 0.4 mm

  Tip: Print clips with 0% infill (you can add a brim) to reduce the risk of them detaching from the build plate.

The cleaner comes in three versions for mounting on a PTFE tube:

1. Mounted without additional parts – the hole for the tube is a tight fit, and the PTFE tube should be gently screwed in until fully inserted.
2. Mounted on the PTFE tube and secured with a 2.5mm zip tie.
3. Mounted on the PTFE tube using a PC4M6 screw.
