Description

OBS Ford Bronco cargo cover pins are known to break. Here is a 3D file that will allow you to print a replacement pin. I created it in Shaper3d and have printed it on Bambu Lab P1s. I used a .4mm nozzle in ABS and ALA. Nozzle temp 170c. Hot plate temp 100c.

Printed excellent. Used ASA. Now I have to figure out how to remove the original factory ones.

Unscrew the grab handle, and slide the steel tube out of the cover. Gently file away ONE end of the OUTER rivet only, just enough that it can be driven out of the tube, releasing the plastic pin & its spring. Try to leave enough of the rivet that it can be put back in & barely spread to lock again, or you'll have to replace the rivet.

awesome! I just got a p1s and one of the main reasons was to start designing and replacing broken parts of my Bronco. like.. the ac vents and all the little plastic parts that are deteriorating. I’m glad someone is doing Bronco stuff too!

Definitely need to replace mine... but how do you remove the old ones? I had needle nose on them and they refuse to pull out at all so something must be catching them?
