Description

🎨 NEW v2 with Full Multi-Color support now available:

https://makerworld.com/en/models/1990657-spa-francorchamps-3d-miniature-v2

3d miniature of the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps!

Includes a AMS-compatible colorized version highlighting the circuit!

Model created in Blender using the Blosm addon.

Printing & Slicing Details

This model was designed to be printed with a 0.4mm nozzle and 0.16mm layer heights.

Try using a 0.2mm nozzle (0.08mm layer heights) or scaling up for even finer detail!

Note: If roads or other small details disappear after slicing, try lowering the extrusion/line width of external perimeters (outer walls) closer to 0.4mm OR use Arachne walls (can also enable “Detect Thin Walls”).

Framing Details

This model measures almost exactly 6.7in by 4.7in (170.5mm X 119.5mm) and should fit most 5x7 frames (assuming frame lip/overlap is around a quarter inch). Feel free to change the scale/size of the model(s) to meet your needs.

Personally I use these cheap frames from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C8HY7YSQ

And blue printer paper: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00006IDQT

I also included a fully printable frame (including a 1mm thick water plate) designed to fit all my miniature cities.

Gif of the Printable Frame

A frame is not required! This model looks great by itself and can be displayed almost anywhere.

Thank you! Sure, I'll try sharing it :) Don't think it qualifies as a remix though, any suggestion as to how to share it?

Thank you for this great model! I printed in the 3 colours and modified the frame so that the hills on the map do not extend beyond the frame.

Hey, i'm still new at this. How do you change the lettering to white/grey? Is that possible in Bambu studio or is another program required?

Hey, I used the singel coler model and then the color function to change the track to the desired color. In color mode, I used the fill function, which colored the entire track.

Printed really nice on my A1 with NO AMS. Used a Sharpie to highlight the track and an ink pad to stamp the letters on the label

I printed the track in another plate (no ams), it was a lot of work and I don’t recommend, but it looks nice.

Hi, do you remember the print settings you used for the track? Based on your post, I tried the same approach and printed the track several times by itself. I had no success without destroying it.
