Hustler Super-Z mower deck cover knob

Summary

This is a replacement knob for a Hustler Super-Z deck cover. It will most likely fit many other models/brands. It utilizes a 5/16 nut that just pushes in place, with an optional plug to close it out.
No supports needed.

I designed the plug with zero tolerance, but I ended up printing the plug at 98.7% to account for rough corners/bad printing, etc. it pushed in perfectly. The print profile has been scaled in this way too.

If you’re going to use this design without the plug, I would reduce the scale slightly because the nut fits without much force, and may push back out before it starts threading on the bolt.

Post-Printing

Push a 5/16 nut into the top of the knob, followed by the optional plug to close it out and it's ready to use.
