Description

Inspired by the model from Maddin, I designed my own version with more coins and card slots , but also leaving half the tray open for normal usage.

50ct, 1€ and 2€ fit

I used black generic PLA on the carbon optics print plate for the look.

Fantastic upgrade over the original model! I printed both versions, and each has its own strengths: this one is more versatile and holds more items, while the original is more material-efficient yet just as sturdy. Suggestions for improvement: • Optimize material usage—get closer to the minimalism of the original model. • Consider adding a locking mechanism to keep it securely in place.

thank you for this very detailed comment/review. I also like the lightweight design of the other inlay, but I decided to go with my approach because the infill of a 3D print makes only so little impact of the filemant used. having only a sheet metal design felt like allowing to many things to squeeze by and end up under the inlay when filling the "bucket"
