M3x10 SHCS Machine Screw (20PCS) - AA159

Description

The 3DSS Modular Pen G2 is the upgraded, tougher, and more versatile version of the original. Built for real-world use and field-tested in rough environments, it now features a fully modular design — giving you the freedom to customize, repair, or accessorize without limits.

💡 Highlights:

  • Modular system for attachments and future upgrades
  • Takes Pilot G2, Pentel EnerGel, and similar refills
  • Uses original G2 spring — no extra hardware needed
  • All-over knurl and twist pattern for grip, even with gloves
  • Anti-roll base — stays put on slopes and tool benches
  • Improved cartridge fit at the tip for a tighter hold

🧩 Included / Supported Accessories:

  • Pocket clip (PETG recommended for durability)
  • Lanyard attachment
  • 3×10mm magnet insert
  • Magnet + lanyard hybrid
  • Future accessories can slot right in — it’s made to grow

🛠 Assembly & Print Tips:

  • M3×10mm screw for mechanism
    → Pre-drill with a 2.7mm bit to avoid layer-line cracks
→ If the click feels rough, loosen the screw slightly
    → Prefer a crown-free look? Use an M3×8mm screw
  • PETG recommended for oily environments or working gear
  • PLA works for clean, casual use and a crisp finish
  • Print the clip in PETG — it resists permanent deformation

🧪 Make It Your Own

I’ve included the STEP file for the accessory interface, so you can design your own attachments or mods. If you come up with something cool, feel free to contact me — I may include a link to your version in the listing in the future.

📌 Notes

PS: For a more solid feel with the crown, add a dab of super glue to the shoulder of the M3 screw before threading. It holds everything tight and improves the feel.

PPS: A full step-by-step guide isn’t really needed, but if you want one, drop a comment — I’ll put it together.
