Description
Interlocking sliders for 6 Kling X-Press-Boxes each (Classic Line K111).
In my partner's lab, these are used to store biological material in freezers. To prevent them from getting mixed up in the respective drawers, I have created a box for upright storage. The plates have several variations that differ in the arrangement of the connecting holes (to couple several boxes together). However, the center variant can also simply be printed, which can be connected to other boxes on each side - unless you mind unused connection holes.
The connectors fit tightly but can be easily inserted with some pressure. We only use top connectors. If a connector breaks during disassembly (if necessary), you can easily push the broken leg out from below with an object. However, if more strength is needed, you can also use the bottom connectors.
Furthermore, a variant without connection possibility is included.
The spacing of the boxes is chosen so that appropriately attached labels are easy to read and the boxes are easy to remove. You can easily adapt the freely available OnShape Design for your purposes.
To save filament, the height and/or infill density can be reduced if necessary
