Hermes Baby Typewriter Alignment Bumper (post '64)

The Hermes Baby typewriter (post 1964 models) uses a post & slot alignment method to hold the upper body panel in line with the guts of the typewriter.  You'll find those posts/slots under the ribbon cover.  On my Baby there were two rubber cushions in those slots, but they were crumbling away to nothing.  So I designed these replacements.  Rather than being a ‘two side donut’ like the originals, this design is a simple sleeve with a cap.  Just slide it down through the slot and over the post sticking up from the frame of the machine.  I printed these in TPU.
