PSA: clean your bed to ensure all parts adhere to the bed

Here's my latest model, and I'm convinced it's going to be a hit! (I'm actually really excited about this one!)
This print-in-place jellyfish has 16 spiralling tentacles and is quite enjoyable to fidget with!

Design features:

  • Extremely flexible chain links make it hold nicely  (90-degree sideways bending freedom per linkage)
  • Optimized colour visibility with only two colour swaps due to the spiralling tentacles and the slanted ends
  • A hole in the body to allow for balancing or spinning on your fingers
  • A smooth jellyfish body with a satisfying relief
  • Print in place

Yes, it might be weird to say, but this thing has play features! You can:

  • Dangle its tentacles over your arms
  • Spin the jellyfish around on your fingers
  • Fumble the thing around in your hands
  • Make a galaxy-like spiral out of the tentacles on a flat surface (see image)
  • Throw and catch it
  • More??

Available versions:

  • normal (9 links; this one is best, in my opinion)
  • large (16 links; optimized to fit on an A1 mini)
  • extra large (37 links; fills the build plate of a P1 or X1)
  • normal 125% (upscaled to mitigate bed adhesion issues)

notes:

  • In the sliced models, blue is the colour of the body, and purple is the colour of the coloured band. Bambu Handy does unfortunately not show this because the colour changes are added on specific layers. (Doing so through height painting unfortunately provides additional issues.)
  • I advise cleaning your print bed before printing
  • If you run into issues, you can try the upscaled version, or scale it yourself
  • normal size model uses 36 grams of filament and takes 2:30 to print

If you have any tips, ideas, feedback, or want to say anything else, just let me know! Oh, and sharing pictures is always appreciated!
