Silica Gel Box for Filament
I have designed this practical silica gel box for filament storage.
Previously, I used round boxes that hung in the center of the spool, which was very cumbersome because I had to: 1. Open the lid, 2. Remove the spool, 3. Take out the silica gel box from the center of the spool, 4. Place the silica gel box into the filament container, and 5. Close the lid.
This silica gel drying box is faster and easier to close. 1. Open the lid, 2. Take out the spool, 3. Close the lid.
The silica gel box has side edges to keep the spools nicely centered. The silica gel box is opened by pulling the handle hole and closed by sliding it shut. At the front, the silica gel box has a holder where you can insert a temperature and humidity gauge. Above the gauge holder is a convenient handle that makes it easier to remove the silica gel box when you want to replace the silica gel.
