https://makerworld.com/en/models/1452944-traditional-huertano-man#profileId-1513923

Description:
This 3D model represents a man dressed in full Huertana attire, traditional to the Murcia region in southeastern Spain. The figure includes culturally accurate garments such as blusa (white blouse), chaleco (fitted vest), pañuelo de hombros (shawl), manguitos (decorative cuffs or fabric extentions), refrajo (a heavy pleated skirt), delantal (an apron worn over the refajo), enguas (petticoat worn under the refajo to give it volume and shape), medias (stockings), and espardeñas (traditional sandals).

🌸 What is Bando de la Huerta?

Bando de la Huerta is one of the most vibrant and beloved festivals in Murcia, a region in southeastern Spain. Celebrated annually during Semana de Primavera (Spring Week), it typically takes place the Tuesday after Easter and transforms the city into a joyful tribute to its agricultural roots and rural heritage.

The festival is a celebration of the “huerta”—Murcia’s historic and fertile farming region known for its orchards, vegetables, and irrigation systems developed centuries ago. During the Bando, locals dress in traditional Huertano clothing and gather in the streets to enjoy parades, folk music, dancing, and large communal meals featuring regional dishes like migas, paella, and zarangollo.

🧥 Traditional Clothing:

  • Men (Huertanos) typically wear white shirts, short baggy pants called zaragüelles, colorful sashes, embroidered vests, and espadrilles.
  • Women (Huertanas) wear floral or dark skirts, white blouses, lace aprons, shawls, and often accessorize with flowers in their hair or ornate combs.
