DAREDEVIL BORN AGAIN SERIES ACCURATE COWL STAND

Daredevil Born Again  Series Accurate Cosplay Helmet Stand. 

I wanted a premium looking and functional stand that was accurate to the rooftop scene that shows off all Murdock's cowls. The idea was to make it look like it came from Daredevil himself, like it came straight from the show.

I modeled this to be friction fit, as I know threaded rods can break when tighted too much and in this case they really weren't needed. I still wanted it to be secure, so the rod may need twisting as you push into the hole, for it to slide firmly on place.

I printed the base in Bambu's matte pla, as I wanted it to have a premium finish, but for strength, the rod was printed in Sunlu PETG. The top cushion, I printed in Eryones TPU (generic TPU profile), as this helps the helmet stay in place and feels more premium, but this piece should be fine printed in PLA or PETG. 

I sometimes also use Sunlu PLA matte instead of Bambu…. Top tip: I initially had adhesion issues with this filament on the provided Sunlu matte profile, and I have learned that it likes glue and a first layer height of 0.16mm - it prints just fine now.
