Unleash the power of Asgard at every gathering! 🍻⚒️ Behold The Bottle-Opening Hammer. Thor approved.

This hammer is forged for true foam warriors! Layer upon layer, crafted in the sacred forge… of your printer.
It chooses only the worthiest… or the thirstiest.

This hammer summons no lightning, but it does pop bottle caps, releases frothy goodness, and heralds the commencement of a gathering worthy of Valhalla’s halls.

Warning: May induce uncontrolled cries of “SKÅL!”

🔩 The Milwaukee Edition

Where construction site spirit meets Norse legend, a hammer unlike any other is born.

Its head proudly displays the Milwaukee logo, engraved in red, like a divine signature on sacred stone. The cracks signify the tool’s power, forged for those who lay paving stones by day… and crack open beers by night.

But what makes it truly unique is its handle sculpted in the style of a concrete drill bit:

🧰 Required Materials:

🔩 Parts to Print:

  • 1x Hammer Head
  • 1x Threaded Handle
  • 1x Locking Piece (to secure the 5-cent coin)

💶 Other Elements:

  • 1x 5-cent Euro Coin (serves as a bottle cap hook)

🪛 Optional but Recommended:

  • 1x M6 Screw (50 to 70 mm long)

👉 To be screwed into the handle to reinforce inter-layer strength, recommended if you doubt the quality of your filament but not obligatory if your filament is very strong.

  • Cyanoacrylate glue (super glue)
    👉 For permanent fixing:
    • the handle to the hammer: Add a drop of glue inside the hammer’s threads before screwing on the handle, for lasting durability.
    • the small locking piece (if tolerances are slightly large) you can also put a little glue in the slot of the lock, this will prevent the force exerted during uncapping from pushing the piece back. (I recommend glue for lasting durability.)

🔧 Printing Tips

  • Orientation: hammer flat, handle separate if you want a different color.
  • Support: only under the bottle cap cutout.
  • Tested with PLA.
  • Recommended resolution: 0.2 mm or better.
  • Use a minimum of 4 walls for the handle, and 3 walls for the hammer head.

🛠️ Assembly:

  • The handle screws into the hammer.

  • It is possible, optionally, to add an M6 screw up to 70 mm inside the handle:
    • It reinforces inter-layer strength, recommended if you doubt the quality of your filament but not obligatory if your filament is very strong.

  • The locking element serves to hold the 5-cent coin firmly in place in the hammer.
👉 Pay attention to the direction of insertion: the piece must fit perfectly into the hammer’s shape to ensure a good fit. (add a little glue in the slot beforehand to seal it permanently, it will be difficult to remove afterwards)

    • Insertion is done by pressure: engage the lock halfway into the slot, then place the hammer flat on a stable surface, then press firmly until the piece clicks completely into place.

🛡️ What if your hammer had a loyal companion?

Introducing the “Viking Helmet” cap, designed to reseal your bottle once opened, with as much style as your hammer has for opening it!

Compatible with standard capped bottles (beer, soda, Coca-Cola…)
