Description

Parametric Bushing Tool

This is a parametric tool designed to create custom suspension components.

It can create standard round bushings, flat sided sway bar bushings with side cut outs and engine mount style bushings. It also allows you to split the part for better print orientation on the bed as well as create textures inside of the bushing for grease retention.

 

Any scale range, can be used from RC cars or test fitting on road vehicles. It is recommended to test print in PLA first if you are creating something custom.

 

There are no tolerances built into the tool!

  1. Diamond pattern internals for grease retention (Toggle) - Complete
  2. Select Bevel edges - Complete
  3. Non Radial Bushes

I was interested in the parametric side of Makerworld and so decided to learn some OpenSCAD and create a project.
