Description

Tired of blinding low-angle sun ruining your outdoor relaxation? Meet the SunShade Clamp Pro – a 3D-printed solution designed to enhance your caravan or camper awning’s coverage. This sleek, durable clamp attaches effortlessly to your awning’s edge, letting you hang shade cloths, towels, bedsheets, or any fabric to block sunlight when traditional awnings fall short. Perfect for sunrise coffee sessions or sunset barbecues!

How It Works:

Put the clamp together, first complete the bolt by screwing both parts firmly in the head.

Slide & Lock: Simply slide the clamp onto your awning’s rail or luifel edge—no tools or drilling required.

Attach Your Fabric: Secure your chosen shade material (e.g., a UV-resistant cloth, towel, or mesh) through the clamp’s grip-friendly slot.

Adjust & Enjoy: Angle the fabric to block sunlight from any direction, and reposition the clamp as needed.

Key Features:
✅ Universal Design: Compatible with most 5mm caravan/camper awning rails.
✅ Multi-Use: Hang shade cloths, dry towels, or even string lights!

Thanks, I noticed on your picture, one part isn't installed correctly, you might want to change it. This part will fit in the other one.

Hi, I printed it with supports (tree) This way the thread is more solid.

I find this a superb piece, with your permission, I will modify it and make it at a 90º angle so that I can place it on the side of the awning and secure both the awning and a side fabric panel When I have it, I will send it to you so you can upload it, the design is yours

In all respect, I do not understand why the thread are split in half and also need to screw into thumb cap. If you unscrew and cap comes off, you can't unscrew it without damaging threads. I re-designed it with solid screw.

thread doesn’t really work. seems too tight. trying to unscrew it results in the bolt to unscrew. now everything is stuck. thread and bolt could maybe be 1 part.

Sorry to hear. Lot of happy users without issues. Did you allign the screw right and turn it completely into the head of the screw ? Otherwise it must be due to differences in printer, settings or calibration. The reason for printing in parts is to make it stronger. There are several video's explaining this. eg : https://youtu.be/C-XLJQ_peQo?si=wo0QFkdDCFWwH2_2

The screw is split in two and it's difficult to glue it
