Description
This is a pool-tubing splitter.
I made it, because I just could not find any Y / 3-way pieces here. It fits the usual 32mm plastic tubing.
I use it along with a 3-way valve to direct flow between my solar-heating mat and no heating at all.
I made two versions, one with o-rings (I used 30x2mm rings) and one with a slight taper - it goes from 32-33,5mm in diameter.
Two important points:
I printed mine with an aligned seam - looks good, but all the voids are in one place, which seemed to me - with air (which is thinner than water) to be only 99% tight. (I just poured a tiny amount of CA-glue over the seam, now it is perfect)
But you might don't have to! I added to the 3mf-file, so that the seam is random AND - I adjusted the filament-settings, to accept scarf-seams. This way, the seam should be better in being watertight. You might need to change the filament profile as well to use scarf-seams, see here:

I'd recommed to use a strong filament with good layer-adhesion, like PETG or - I've used Polycarbonate.
Both should be fine - but not PLA - easy to print but will become brittle over time. Just never use it - PETG is not worse but will manage temperature and not get brittle after >1 year of use.
Walls apre pretty thick - for two reasons:
1. If you want to use hose-clamps, it might not breaks as easy
2. water-tightness should be better.
Have fun!
