15-22 10mag spring
Print Profile(1)

Description
After many, many, many, many trials and tribulations trying to create a 3d printed spring for my 15-22, I finally managed to make one that works reliably.
So far I've tested this in the stock M&P 10 round magazine, and it works great. It seems a little stiffer in PETG but works fine in PLA. The prints you can see in my pictures are white PLA ( I use that when testing as it shows the dirt up a bit more!) .
The follower is an adapted version of the square deal follower, It might be possible to adjust this further to squeeze another round in, the circular peaks of the springs are important for strength and to ensure it returns to form but when compressed but do mean that you lose a bit of space in the magazine. I suspect if I take much more material out of that, I might need an extra loop in the spring to give some more compression and so might have diminishing returns. Will see though!
next step is to scale this up to see if a larger version will work in a straight generalcuster mag.
Its super simple to make, print as per the 3mf, the follower need a tiny bit of support but not much. Then you're off to the range :)
