Description

Boost Me (for free)

Please consider giving me a boost if this worked out well for you.

I put a Proline 4runner body on my gen7 but didn't like the angled posts. This is a straight up and down body post version of my replacement shock tower.

I installed non-Redcat portals (but cane be used with Redcat portals to eliminate the plate they send with the kit) and needed to raise my shock up to compensate for the portal height.

The Redcat kit comes with a plate to raise them so I started making one of those but that makes the shock stick out like 3mm more or so. These are stock replacements and can use the same hardware. Just adds the top holes to rasie the shock. There's a crossbar to install between them if you would like, would need little bit longer shock hardware. After installing these it doesn't seem necessary, but others might want it.
