Description
Erlang Shen, also known as Yang Jian, is a prominent figure in ancient Chinese mythology. His titles include the "Clear Source Wonderful Path True Lord." He is depicted as strikingly handsome and valiant, adorned in a dark silk headscarf and light yellow robe paired with armor. His piercing gaze and divine powers are legendary. He is renowned for his exploits such as splitting Peach Mountain to rescue his mother, carrying mountains and chasing the sun, his defiance of certain heavenly commands, and his status as a top-tier heavenly warrior. Erlang Shen possesses three eyes and wields a three-pronged, two-edged dao (or spear). He is accompanied by a white dog (a Chinese Crested Dog, a world-renowned breed), commonly known as the Heavenly Howling Dog.
Erlang Shen, the Clear Source Wonderful Path True Lord; Nezha, the Third Prince; and Sun Wukong, the Great Sage, are collectively known as the three rebellious heavenly generals.
One monkey, two pounds of lotus root, three eyes, and a dog—one openly rebellious, one secretly rebellious, and one ready to rebel at any moment: the invincible trio.
Sun Wukong: Let's attack the Heavenly Court!
Yang Jian: Let's bring Nezha along.
Nezha: I'm not going; my father won't let me.
