Description

PTFE Disconnect × Hub Holder — CTHP (s/sx) × CTHH

C59 ToolWorks – High-Performance Printable Tools

PTFE Release Tool & A1/MINI Hub Holder (CTHH)  – Safe and Easy PTFE Tube Disconnection

This clever little toolset is designed to make maintenance and PTFE tube swapping easier and safer—especially for the AMS hub on Bambu Lab A1/MINI printers. It also works well enough for the X/P hub disconnection if you don't use (or want) a Quick-Disconnect button like this one I designed.

There are two versions on the same plate: CTHP x CTHH are intended for A1 & MINI, While CTHPs and CTHPsx are designed for other applications, they can also be used if you don’t mind the hub retainer for the A1/MINI.

CTHPsx has a slightly longer push detent, which is helpful in situations such as removing the PTFE on the P2S with XPTG 3.1. While CTHPs also works for this, a little extra reach never hurts.

Assembly Instructions

  1. Align the four tabs of CTHP tool with the matching round holes on the CTHH.
  2. Press them together until they lock into place. Be careful with your fingers!
  3. Rotate the assembly slightly to wear it in.
  4. To disassemble, gently pry the tools apart by pushing on the opposite side of the tab holes on the CTHH.

Usage Instructions

A1 & MINI

  • Clip the CTHH onto the round portion of the hub. It's designed to stay in place, freeing up both hands for easier handling.
  • The Hub retainer is only for A1 so you can download only the disconnect portion if used with other printer or universal.
  • When disconnecting a PTFE tube from an A-series Bambu hub:
    • First, insert the CTHH.
    • Then use the CTHP (PTFE release tool) to safely release the tube.

For Other Applications (X1C, P1S, P2S, H2DSC)

  • Simply slide the fork over the PTFE tube and push to disconnect.

This tool helps protect your fingers and ensures hassle-free tube removal.
