Description

This case is adapted from MDHR's hdzero goggle case adaption of Rugged Box by whity, both on printables.  This project is my first time using any form of CAD software (fusion 360) and the learning curve was steep I tell you what. Big thanks to both of the previously mentioned creators for their awesome work.

REMIX CHANGES:

  • Adjusted the length and width to accommodate the TBS Fusion analog module which is what I personally use.
  • I also cut out space for the front facing patch antenna attachments so it should be flush with the base as intended.

NOTES:

  • This print uses a lot of filament and each part will take up the whole bed. 246 g tpu 337 g petg.
  • I used rainbow inland TPU because its what I had, use whatever profile works for your filament.
  • I used bambu translucent petg for everything else because its what I had, but any other sturdy filament should work fine. However, the box is relatively thin so there is noticeable bending if you push on the sides. (Maybe increasing infill would help)
  • The original version advises using foam in the lid for downward pressure to keep the box contents in place during transportation.
  • I used 6 M3x35 screws with washers and nuts for the latches.

FUTURE ADDITIONS:

  • Im currently working on a tpu lid insert with protruding pressure points instead of using foam to keep the items in place. This would theoretically also seal off the loose item area from the goggles area. I have not printed this yet but its included in the step file.
