Description

The SOTO Amicus Dual Pots Cookset Combo tends to rattle loosely inside its mesh bag, which I found quite annoying.

So I designed a lightweight 3-claw clip (under 5g) to securely lock the two pots together. I also added a small bowl to prevent the gas canister from scratching against the pot wall. During cooking, the bowl doubles as a convenient catch-all basket for small items.

Once you pack the gas canister, utensils, stove, dish soap, and dish cloth inside and secure everything with the 3-claw clip, the entire kit becomes a single, rattle-free unit.

The clip weighs less than 5g, but the bowl requires about 56g of filament. You can skip the bowl and use a dish cloth as a buffer between the canister and the pot, but without the dish cloth at the top, I didn’t have enough items or padding to fully fill the internal space—so I chose to carry the extra 56g.

The asymmetrical claw design avoids interference with the small pot’s handle. Be sure to align the clip correctly when attaching.

Compatibility
This design is specifically made for the SOTO Amicus Combo. Due to the standardized size of gas canisters, it may also work with other double-pot sets after some adjustment. However, I don’t own other similar pot sets, so unfortunately, I couldn’t generalize or test compatibility further.

Material & Printing Notes:
* For better durability, I recommend using PETG or similar materials. However, PLA also held up well during a 4-day backpacking test.

* To ensure proper first-layer adhesion, I usually apply glue to the build plate. If you experience adhesion issues and don't have glue, try adding a brim and/or thoroughly cleaning the plate.

Disclaimer: The 3D-printed inner bowl is NOT food-safe and should NOT be used for serving or storing food.
