Description

I designed a 3D-printable mold that allows you to create a key impression. Simply fill the mold with (polymer) clay, place your key on top, and press the two halves of the mold together to form the imprint. You can then pour a metal alloy or epoxy resin into the impression to create a replica. The clams case is also used as a stand.

To join the two halves of the clamp together, you’ll need an M4 screw. I used an M4x50 screw that I had lying around and shortened it to about 45–46 mm so it fits perfectly. I also added a locking nut at the end.

I would say you can use PLA and PETG for this.
