Description
I designed these adapter rings to integrate Sunlu reusable spools into my "Retracting Spool Holder" design!
They work with both Tumbler Versions!
These spools are one of the smallest 1kg spool designs that i know, and i like sunlu filaments. So this is the first one that i'll integrate besides the original Bambu spools!
They are about 5mm smaller in outer diameter than bambu reusable spools.
You will notice that they will not be 100% concentric with the retraction mechanism!
The claw inside my spool holders can still grab the tumbler fine!
The TPU seal allows enough movement that the claw can be positioned slightly crooked - you'll see what I mean!
Once it grabs in, it works almost as great as with bambu spools!
One of the two rings has a notch, that fits into the corresponding gap on the sunlu reusable spool.
Best printed in ABS or higher, so you can leave the tumbler and adapter rings inside the spool when you dry your filament!
I provide profiles with and without support interface material!
