Description

This is a remix of the side panels from the Modcase Evolution case. Very nice baseline design, I highly recommend it!

I wanted my side panels to have a bit more flare to them, so I made them into multi part pieces! The mesh can be printed in a separate material to the frame, such as PLA for the mesh, and PETG for the panel frame.

Do not print the frame pieces in PLA! They will warp over time.

I did this as I wanted a silk bronze filament, and PLA is one of the only materials with a large variety of colors and finishes.

The mesh is glued into the frame with CA glue; be sure to have some clamps around to hold it in place. They have held up fine for the first week of use, should be fine for long term.

EDIT: Mesh is still doing fine 6 months later! There is warping near the high-heat areas, but that doesnt really affect the functionality or look at all. Its really hard to notice unless you feel it with your hand. I'd say this is a successful long term test!
