Description
This is a durable clip designed to securely hold 6mm A142 concrete mesh onto a closed board fence—ideal for reinforcing vertical structures or creating support for climbing plants. The model ensures a snug fit over standard fence boards and holds the mesh firmly in place without damaging the wood.
It's a very cheap way to have ‘corten’ trellis. In the UK this can be purchased from Selco.
Recommended Material: PETG
PETG is suggested for its excellent strength, UV resistance, and weatherproof properties, making it suitable for long-term outdoor use.
Print Settings:
- Layer height: 0.2mm
- Infill: 30%+ (for strength)
- Supports: Not required (unless your printer struggles with minor overhangs)
- Perimeters: 3 recommended for added durability
Note:
Always test fit one print before producing multiples to account for fence or mesh variations.
