Modular Crown System
This is a modular crown system that allows you to build and customise your own crown prop for roleplaying, LARP, imaginative play, cosplay, or any other reasons. It features a simple link system connected by lengths of filament meaning no glue is required and you can modify any crown you make as much as you like.
Boost Me (for free)
The system consists of a base link, which I've included the step file for so you can edit it in fusion360 or the stl version in blender to make your own crown elements. At the top of each hole you'll notice a small channel. This is so you can bend over the top of the filament used to connect the links in case their loose, but this shouldn't happen. The print profile provided has the links oriented to optimise the friction within the connection holes.
In addition to the base link, and a short version for size adjustments, I've also included several themed sets.
Dwarven Crown

This set consists of a regular and short dwarven themed link, plus three detail pieces in large, medium, and small sizes
Evil Crown

This set consists of three detail pieces in large, medium, and small sizes. There is also a devil horns centerpiece for this crown, but it uses the dwarven link as a base so you may want to use the links from that set.

Princess Unicrown

This set features a curved centerpiece consisting of 7 pieces. The central piece has the option of with and without the unicorn horn. The print profile provided features a horn setup for AMS printing, but you can also just use a filament change at the right layer. For the gradient rainbow effect in the picture, you'll want a gradient rainbow filament and use per-object printing. The order of the plates should be:
- 6 links
- 6 links
- Left 3, Left 2, then Left 1
- Centerpiece
- Right 1, Right 2, then Right 3
- 6 links
- 6 links
Crown of Infinite Gems

In this set, there are 5 different gems each of which is magnetised to be removable from its fitting. You can print these all the same colour, or in individual colours. Note that per-object printing doesn't work with the layer pause option so you will need to print the gems individually if you're going to use different colors. This set also features a studded link, and two alternate centerpieces; a star and a large gem.

Vampire Fang Crown

This set features 4 pieces; a left and right fang, a centerpiece blood drop gemstone, and blood gem links. In the print profile they're all set up for AMS printing but you can use a filament swap instead and get pretty identical results. The fangs and blood drop centerpiece both require supports and the blood drop benefits from a high infil and low layer height as it uses a print-in-place connection. The two pieces will usually be slightly fused after printing, but can be separated fairly easy although this is optional.
The display head featured is the "Avery" Mannequin by King
