Description

This is a riser for the Kallax shelving unit.  It is 83mm tall.  If other heights are needed, you can scale it or add primitive shapes to each leg, as needed.

I needed to raise the model shown in the picture to allow for others to be put in front.

There is another version with solid sides in the .3mf file.  I left it there if anyone wants to use that instead.  The step file only contains the one shown.

This is the best Kallax shelf i found out there. Doesn't take 10 hours to print and uses a little amount of filament. Great design ✨ I printed it on my A1 mini with no issues. Awesome work!

Appreciate the kind words. Your thoughts are exactly why I designed these. There aren't too many that are quick and easy to print.

I commissioned several custom pieces for my furniture, and they are perfect

Very nice. I especially like the carbon fiber design from the build plate. I may have to try that.

great model for creating room for small pieces, kept a little of the star wars that inspired the model

I have an ongoing love/hate relationship with my spice cabinet. I love spices… but in a small kitchen they somehow evolve into a chaotic flavor avalanche where everything gets mixed up, knocked over, or disappears into the abyss behind the paprika. 😄 This riser has already made a huge difference. It uses vertical space really well and makes it much easier to actually SEE what I have instead of excavating the cabinet like an archaeologist searching for onion powder. I was also impressed by how quickly this printed and how sturdy it feels once assembled. Simple, practical, and genuinely useful, exactly the kind of print I end up appreciating the most. Now if someone could invent a print that stops me from buying duplicate spices because I forgot I already had them somewhere in the cabinet, my kitchen organization journey would finally be complete. 😂
