H2D - Secure PTFE Tube Holder Bracket
Printing TPU with the Bambu Lab H2D Made Simple
Bambu Lab has streamlined the process of printing TPU with the H2D, making it remarkably straightforward. To successfully print TPU, it's important to bypass the filament buffer—this can be done either by attaching an additional PTFE tube or by disconnecting the right extruder’s PTFE tube.
Since I frequently work with TPU, I’ve opted to leave a dedicated PTFE tube connected at all times for added convenience. While I tested several existing designs, I ultimately decided to develop my own. Drawing inspiration from a variety of solutions that offered meaningful features, I incorporated those elements while also introducing improvements that address specific functional needs.
Features:
- Accommodate any size and brand PTFE
- Hold any size TPU tight so it wont come loose while printing.
- Angled the holder to precisely follow the PTFE tube path of other tubes connected to your extruder.
- Fits flush and snugly into extruder casing.
Printing Notes:
- Print in ABS/ASA or PETG, it gets hot in there, you don't want your tubes to droop.
- Printing in PLA? Expect your holder to begin to warp when printing with high temp filaments.
