Big Update!!!! (Version 2.0)
Many thanks to users FilamentFool and DaubsDesigns for their great ideas that motivated me to update the jetpack
Overview of new features:
- Revised more user-friendly components (see list)
- Revised print profiles (with and without AMS) and improved print times
- Newly designed clear parts list and assembly instructions in German and English
- 3 different circuit diagrams adapted for beginners to experts, in German and English
- Wrist box for radio remote control
Depending on the circuit diagram, the functions are limited - however, the wing motorization is always present!
Beginner: Simple circuit with radio remote control
Advanced: Circuit with diodes and limit switch for automatic wing stop
Expert: Revised circuit with additional on/off switch, different power source, step-up module, capacitor, and THRUSTER LIGHTING!!!
I proudly present my motorized Buzz Lightyear jetpack for children
Fully functional, radio-controlled, illuminated wings that fold out and retract
Designed as a backpack for cosplay, carnival, or simply to make a child's wish come true
Four weeks of design work and optimization were required to draw, print, and coordinate all parts to transform this great project from a sketch into reality
The jetpack, complete with all components, electronics, battery, straps, and padding, weighs approximately 650 grams, making it a lightweight companion for your child without straining their back
Fastening straps or belts can be mounted as desired thanks to the 25mm cutouts
An easily accessible, magnet-secured battery compartment allows for quick battery changes and provides a view of the worm gear for optional lubrication
The print plates and print profiles have been perfectly matched to their respective components and their strength
No AMS is required, except for the text plates
