This is a single compartment holder perfectly sized for odds and ends on your work bench. It also works well for pens, pencils, markers, and utility knives of most sizes.

The compartment internally measures:

4" wide x 2.25" deep

4 variations available :

1 with the cleat

1 without the cleat.

1 with #8 screw holes (0.177")

1 with #10 screw holes (0.210")

All will free stand with or without items stored in it. All styles are in the print profile on individual plates.

I also have other holders of similar style available here

1 compartment - shallow

1 compartment - deep

2 compartment - Full size DVOMs

2 compartment - Half size DVOMs

Is it possible to make a design that doesn't use nearly half a roll? This looks great, but a wall-full would cost an arm and a leg. Very nice design, however.

You are mistaken a single holder doesn't use half a roll. There's 4 variations in the design on 4 separate plates. A single holder is around 107g. The french cleat version is around 126g because of the support material. Open the design and you will see. you can adjust the print quality to use less walls and less infill, but I prefer the sturdiness of the current setup because its a shop tool and plastic is cheap. A few extra grams isn't going to break the bank for a more robust design that doesn't break.

What slat thickness is this designed for? 1/2" or 3/4"?
