StarCore Case - Free 3D Print Model

Introduction

Introducing the StarCore Case! Yeah, I don't know, I used AI to help me think up a name. Otherwise, what am I gonna keep calling all these different designs?!

This case is based off of the mega swatch case I did. I've enlarged it with a few size variations; including a sizable H2D variation! I added another screw point on the case too, and added some extra depth so longer screws can be used.

Insert Customization

I've included step files for the inserts that are used with each size, so you can further customize the interior to your specific needs. Feel free to release your custom inserts for others to download and print. All I ask is to include a link back to the main case here!

Hardware:

10 M2x18mm Self Tapping Screws (Bambu's BT2x18mm self tapping screws)

2 2x22mm Dowel Pins (I used 2 of the brass dowel pins from Bambu. You can likely use a piece of filament too)

4 4x6mm (Diameter x Height) cylinder magnets. (Here's a few sources! Amazon US 1, Amazon US 2, SuperMagnets, Apex Magnets)

Assembly Instructions

Install the end piece into place and securely screw it with 5 screws.

Insert the dowel pin and slide the lid into place.

Insert the second dowel pin into place, place the other end cap, and secure it all with the 5 remaining screws.

Insert the 4 magnets, being careful that their polarities are aligned. And that's it!
