Description

Hello! These jank looking dice are mathematically true and fair.

The majority of work and documentation can be found over at Carlos Luna's page. I just wanted to bring my profiles to MakerWorld for the ease of clicking print and letting it do it's thing.

This is a direct copy of https://www.printables.com/model/616349-skew-dice but with my own print profiles.

I dealt with a lot of spaghetti and adhesion issues whilst trying to print these (not sure if that's to do with the latest firmware update or what) and have settled on a print profile that ends up printing nice looking hefty die with the use of supports.

the print failed but only one die was actually unusable, this model is 5 stars, just the looks on my players faces whenever I hand them these to roll healing potions is priceless

oh nice, yours came out really nice!! I should really update the print profile, I did it whilst my printer was having firmware issues hence the excessive supports!

in my opinion, the supports weren't excessive, it definitely took more filament than I thought it would but excluding one die they turned out really clean

You would be correct, the supports were as intended to make sure everything stuck on the build plate at an angle where the die weren't printed on their faces. I tried reprinting one earlier with easier and cleaner supports and had 5 die just lift of and turn into a blobby mess (so will not be updating the print profile for now). Oh yeah the 99% infill would do that for you, runs through a lot of filament but I do absolutely love these! Hope you have amazing sessions with these! :)

Used matte rainbow PLA, funny dice and gets a laugh from people.

Pretty good, the support is massive, don't know if that's really needed.

No specific issues, I think I canceled because I got the wrong filament and wanted to re-select, totally a 5/5 build. Really cool dice!! I love dice with awkward shapes and was so excited to see these!! printed very nicely with all out of the box settings!

The supports left a lot of marks, but that’s not really the profile’s fault. Just a heads up to be sure to use a different support material.
