This tarp clamp is designed for robust durability and exceptional gripping power. Its wide mouth, reminiscent of a hippopotamus's jaws, boasts a generous opening and impressive clamping force—similar to a hippopotamus's tenacious hold on its prey. Simple bolt tightening secures the tarp firmly, while loosening the bolt allows for effortless removal.
Thanks to its unique wide-mouth design and powerful grip, it excels not only in securing standard tarps but also in clamping various fabrics such as canvas and shade cloths. It also serves as a reliable anchor point for outdoor tents or awnings, demonstrating remarkable versatility.
Currently, it's 3D printed using PLA. However, considering the demands of long-term outdoor use, PETG, with its superior weather resistance, might be a more suitable material, ensuring this “hippo mouth” tarp clamp maintains its robust performance under sun, wind, and rain.
The 9mm diameter hole accommodates most ropes.
