Description

I'm sharing a useful 3D-printable design: a case for mounting a DC-to-DC buck converter onto a 2040 aluminum extrusion. This design was created by Josef Prusa and is a remix of the original "DC-DC Buck Converter Case" by brunofresco (giving credit to both creators!). Josef Prusa added mounting holes/tabs to the original design to make it easy to attach to the rear of 2040 profiles, which is a common need in various maker projects. The downloadable files include button.obj, top.obj, and buck-converter-2040-base-3mm.stl. Please note that this design is shared under the Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 4.0 International License, so it's important to respect the licensing terms.
