The Cheat's Benchy
Want to print the fastest Benchy and win all bets with your 3D printing enthusiast friends? Then you've come to the right place.
WARNING: Your printer will be pushed to its limits!!!
I modified the original Benchy design to simplify printing, pushed all printer settings to the max, and slightly reduced its size to produce this Benchy in 8 minutes and 17 seconds!!! on my P1S.
It's not pretty, it's not robust, and you've shamelessly cheated, but using my print program, you're guaranteed to win speed competitions!
Cheater's Tips:
- Remember to uncheck the automatic bed leveling option to gain 6 minutes and 13 seconds.
- Apply glue to the build plate, otherwise your Benchy will fly off. (no kidding)
- Once printed, don't place it next to an original Benchy, or in the hands of your competitors, otherwise the deception won't work…
Have fun pushing the boundaries further and further!!!
This is a rather demanding print that requires a well-tuned and well-maintained printer; use pre-dried “Bambu Lab PLA Basic” filament. Your build plate must be clean and properly adhered.
Currently only available for P1S, but I believe it should work on P1P. I haven't tested it on others yet…
