Meant for personal/private use only. Distributing without active membership plan is prohibited.
This rotating footstop is designed to be very rigid and withstand high load forces when using big square lipped grippy wheels. The bearings and the steel sleeve [need to be sourced external] support the mounting bolt, so it won't bend.
The 26mm long steel sleeve has an outer diameter of 8mm and an inner diameter of 5mm. In my opinion it is necessary to make this footstop work properly. You should find some suitable stuff in your local hardware store.
The internal stop should be printed out of 65D or harder TPU. Do NOT USE PETG since it will soften too much in your car on a hot summer day and maybe will fail. TPU can withstand higher temperatures.
You also will need two standard built-in bearings from any brand, at least one washer [OD 15mm, ID 5.3mm], a 2" long panhead bolt and a suitable nyloc nut for the bolt.
Use at your own risk.
Membership
If you want to distribute this footstop on your own, or want to use the internal stop design for your own footstop design feel free to subscribe to my membership plan. This will help me to provide more tested downhill gear to print for you.
