Description

Hello!

This is my first ever contest submission. I wanted to see if I can recreate the dice roller from the game trouble.

I got my spring idea from Slant 3D video on springs

From there I first tried printing my dome out of transparent petg but it was never clear enough. So I shifted to making a geodesic dome. To help me make it I used Jon Sorrells Polyhedron featurescript tool on OnShape

I created the whole thing in onshape including the card suits wrapped around the base.

This was made with Bambu PLA Basic and normal setting. Supports are used for the top of the dome and the bottoms of the clubs and spades suits. Should be able to print on one plate unless A1 mini.

To build it I recommend placing your dice on the spring first, then attach the dome then place it into the base.

This works with all standard dice, feel free to swap it out with any dnd dice.

* If resizing becareful as it might weaken the dome

Could you make the outside look like castle bricks? I’d love it to match my dice tower and dice jail!
