Description

4.5"/114.5mm riser shoes for your LoveSac Sactionals sofa! I found a few of these on some online stores but couldn't find a good object file, so I opened up Fusion and made some myself! I see people selling these, but I want to make these free to use and modify, just to share the wealth. This is my first ever CAD design, and first ever fully self created model. I printed these on an H2D, and I think that all of them except for the full 4x4 will print on smaller printers like the P1 or X1 series.

I made these exactly 4.5"/114.5mm tall, but only the exterior sides are sloped. If you want them taller or shorter, they should stretch out/cut just fine. I included my self designed .stl exports from Fusion as well. I printed these in PETG-HF, with a .06mm nozzle and .30mm layer height. I didn't use a lot of infill to save on cost (the 4x4 uses 800 grams of filament alone), so thicker walls and first and last layers are a must.

Feel free to print, share, and remix, but please credit me if you do, and I'd prefer if you didn't use these to supply a model store. The whole reason I created these was because I could only find them in places like Etsy, and I'm sure somebody will find them useful. Let me know how they work out!

I don’t have the recliner so I don’t have a reference to design around, sorry.

Thanks a ton! was able to print on an x1c, had to scoot the 2x2 around a bit, but it does fit. Edit: Also, the power brick for the stealthtech audio system just fits inside the 2x2.

working my way through printing this. so far seems pretty great. I've ordered a felt pads to place in the bottom to keep it from scratching the floors. https://amzn.to/4lZd1Yx it does take a long time to print, and a ton of filament. I have a pretty big couch, so I think I'm probably going to use about 12 to 14 kilos. so while that's probably about $150 worth of filament. it's much cheaper than the people selling this on Etsy where one piece alone is $50. great work and putting this out there. thank you so much. I can't wait to have the underside of my couch cleaned by the robots. it gets pretty gross under there.

Thanks! I have a big 8 piece setup as well. It took about a full week of nonstop printing and about $150 of filament as well. I’ve been sitting in it for months now and we love it. Sooo much easier to clean under.

Good to hear. I've got at 10 piece, I expect it to take about a month, lol. I can do a 4 hole and a two hole on one roll in a day.

can you make this compatible with a X1C?

Unfortunately the 2x2 is just too big. Any smaller and it wouldn’t fit the couch. You might try printing 1x2’s and setting them side by side.

Made to replace. The feet fit in nice and snug. Been using them on my 8 seat layout for months now.
