Description

This is reupload of my demo space bug print settings because people can't read and complained about the model and pictures until makerworld deleted it.

You can use and save these various profiles to test quality settings on your bambu printers and improve your miniatures.

Simply download and load them, then switch printer if necessary and save all changed settings to a custom profile.

Also you can just drag a different model in to try out.

You can mouse over profiles for some additional information.

Be sure to check out my other models with additional print settings to try! Some settings may be older or newer, but I don't believe there is one setting to rule them all. Every print is different and certain settings may work better for your models.

Came out perfect, really impressive level of detail! Supports seemed very dense using the ObscuraNox 1.2 settings, but they were super easy to remove.

this is a very useful resource, thank you. are there particular print profiles which have strengths and weaknesses for specific styles of model. Or should I find the one which works best for specific filament on my specific printer?

Hard question to answer! It definitely will vary a bit with your choice of filament and even your areas humidity. One of the people in the discord where we test settings lives in Indonesia and his results are always different with their climate. We print Warhammer and Trench Crusade and find FDG, HoHansen and ObscuraNox to all have amazing results on miniatures. None of those are particularly needed on vehicles or terrain. I feel like most settings are built with supportless minis.

"Butter Supports" settings is our most recent attempt at making easy to remove supports and for most filaments they seem to be working, at least for small miniatures. Lately we have been playing with Resin2FDM which is a gamechanger to quality but it does take a good amount of work to setup and effort to properly support each model.

thanks for the super quick reply. I've seen HoHansen settings come up a lot in the subreddit is any of these settings based on HoHansen? I've seen the resin2fdm and that personally seems like too much effort until it becomes a seting in a FDM slicer

Do you also have amazing 0.4 mm terrain settings ?

Nothing really dedicated for it. Most of the terrain we print works perfectly good on stock quality settings. I mostly use .16hq. ive done a few pieces in .2 nozzle but the quality just isnt visible in terrain. maybe some really unique alien spiny terrain would work good with .4 miniature settings
