I designed a click-in wire mesh cover that combines functionality with a beautiful look! ✨
🛠️ About the Design
These covers are made to fit standard wire meshes with the following specifications:
- Mesh size: 7×7 cm (2.75×2.75 inches)
- Wire thickness: 2.75 mm (~0.108 inches)
They simply snap onto the mesh without the need for glue or screws! The design holds firmly in place thanks to smart clipping slots built into the cover.
🎨 Available Styles
I created two artistic designs to choose from:
- Honeycomb 🐝: A classic hexagon pattern that brings strength and symmetry.
- Leaf structure 🍃: An organic, natural pattern, perfect for a softer and more nature-inspired vibe.
Both designs are available in two variants:
- See-through version: Lightweight and elegant
- Non-see-through version: More coverage for extra protection
🖨️ Printing Recommendations
- Material:
- PLA works well for decorative indoor use.
- PETG or ABS is recommended for better durability and outdoor use. 🌦️
- Layer Height: 0.28 mm is totally fine
- No supports needed! 🙌
- Very quick and leight weight print, optimised for quantity
