This is a set of pieces that can be used to create customizable Iron Man minifigures at 250% scale. This is an original design that we created which draws inspiration from the various Iron Man minifigs released over the years and offers multiple customization options. We've included two distinct front torso designs, two unique leg variations, and a custom arm design—all of which can be painted in different ways to recreate one of Iron Man’s many armors from the Marvel Universe or to design something entirely new. The head, featuring two faces, along with the helmet and mask, all come from the Mark 7 version released in 2013.

Bonus: We've also included parts to create the Tony Stark minifig included in the Iron Man Armory set released in 2020 at this scale as well!

This minifig was remixed from the Mega Minifigure published by Julia Ebert.  The changes made to the original design are:

  • All parts were scaled down 25% to work with other models we've published at a 2.5:1 scale from original  parts
  • A modified torso and waist which include cavities to hold the torso sticker parts provided with this design (the sticker parts will need to be glued in place at these locations).
  • The waist parts were modified slightly to make them easier to assemble.
  • Modified arms and legs which include custom decorations to go with this design.
  • The waist, arm, and hand parts were modified  to print with their connectors attached (This will require supports but eliminates the need to glue these pieces)
  • With the modifications above, the pins were no longer needed so these were removed from the print list.

The basic instructions for assembling the figure can be found in Julia's post. This is a fantastic model that's easy to print and assemble.  Special thanks to Julia for sharing this work!

All the accessory parts were taken from thal72's Printables profile (or provided by thall72 directly) and scaled to 250%. He has a massive library of [L e g o] compatible parts available at this location.  If you wish to do any additional customization to these mini-figures, this is a fantastic resource to find additional parts.  Special thanks to him as well for sharing this work!

Some additional notes:

  • We're calling mini-figs at this scale 'action-sized' because their dimensions are similar to a standard 1:18 scale action figure.
  • At this scale, we've found printing the main mini-fig parts with 4 perimeters and 40% infill to be optimal from a strength perspective
