Description
Welcome to the V2 of my popular Modular Hydroponics Tower - seen here: Modular Hydroponics Tower
What's so good about the Modular Hydroponics Tower?
- Built in central tube for transporting water to the top, no extra long tube required up the middle.
- Fits on an A1-Mini.
- No supports needed on any parts.
- 1000s of prints with 5.0 star rating.
- Lots of accessories to customize your tower.
What's New?
- Redesigned Lid and Shower for better water distribution and no leaks.
- Includes strong 48mm pots with lots of gaps for roots to grow.
- Embossed design up the tower.
- Uses M3 x 8mm Self-Tapping Screws instead of heat-inserts to attach modules together for extra support.
- Includes a optional spacer for raising the growing area above the water container.
- Includes blanking pot to reduce spillage on holes you're not ready to grow in yet.
How to Assemble
Step 1 - The pump
In a container, connect a 16mm ID silicon tubing to an SML-025 submersible pump and cut it flush with the top of the container.

Step 2 - Add a lid
Make a lid out of plywood, or use a container lid, make a 25mm hole in the middle.
Note: Transparent containers will grow Algae so avoid this!

Step 3 - Attach the tube to the barbed base and straighten the hose.

Step 4 - Screw the Barbed Base to the lid, or clamp it using bolts and the clamping part.

Step 5 - Screw modules together using M3 x 8mm Self-Tapping Screws and attach to the base.

Step 6 - Add the shower part to the top module, (just rests on top). It's good to test the pump at this point to make sure everything is working.

Step 7 - Attach the lid and secure with M3 x 8mm Self-Tapping Screws.

Step 8 - Insert blanks into the pots you're not using to reduce spillage.

Step 9 - Boost the model

Please consider boosting this model it really helps.
Remember to post a comment with your tower once you get some plants growing! Thanks.

Updates:
V2.1: I've added an optional “Redirector” part you can put every couple of layers to redirect the water back towards the edges to reduce the sound and make it more efficient. This just drops in at the top of any module.

V2.2 - Fixed a gap pointed out by Capelare where the middle supports weren't properly attached to the centre tube.
V2.3 - Added a print profile and STLs for a non-embossed version for those who don't like the awesome design but still want the best hydroponics tower.
V2.4 - Added a ring module to support plants. This needs a larger bed as it's 250mm diameter. Prints same as the module, without supports.

V2.5 - Added a shorter spacer as requested.
