This project also inspired this project, optimizing the base model

The adapter base has a 7.3mm diameter and 6.5mm deep recess for a heat-set cylindrical insert, largely compatible with M6*6*8 heat-set nuts; a lighter or soldering iron can assist installation, but exercise caution to avoid burns

I used heat-set nuts salvaged from an old, broken base

Includes adapters in two orientations for both horizontal and vertical mounting:

Required:

• Bicycle handlebar mounting component with an M6 threaded base (If you don't have one, consider printing the base directly from this project's original project)
• 2x M3x20 screws and corresponding M3 nuts
• 1x M6*6*8 heat-set threaded insert
• Common GoPro mount threaded rod and nut
