I frequently utilize the Wemos D1 ESP8266 microcontroller and esphome to integrate sensors into a Home Assistant system. Therefore, I sought a method to attach a BME280 temperature and humidity sensor to a 16mm tent pole. The sensor's height on the pole should be adjustable, allowing for optimal placement. The sensor should be clippable onto 16mm poles—a standard diameter for EG16 electrical conduits used in constructing tents or typical smaller grow tents.

The housing must be printed with support (see images). Six walls and 25% infill are also necessary to provide the clip with sufficient strength.

For the Wemos D1, I found the following housing, which works perfectly:

For cable connections, 4-pin PC fan connectors are suitable. These are inexpensive and allow for easy adjustments or extensions.
