This 150 mm (5.9") Air Conditioner Hose Twist-Lock Adapter has been developed to securely and precisely connect a flexible 150 mm exhaust hose to a twist-lock fitting. It is ideal for mobile air conditioning units, extraction systems, or ventilation systems.

Printing Recommendations

  • Recommended material: ASA (heat-resistant, dimensionally stable)
  • Alternative: ABS/PETG (good strength, easier to print)
  • It is best to print all parts from the same filament to maintain consistent tolerances.
  • Each filament behaves differently - if the fit is too loose, I recommend printing the Flange at 99.7% on X & Y. (Leave Z at 100%)

Usage
The adapter is mounted, for example, on the wall to securely extend the exhaust hose of an air conditioning unit or an extraction system. The Twist-Lock lugs ensure a firm hold. For heavily hanging hoses, additional strain relief or fixation is recommended.

EDIT May 29, 2026: Air grille / protective grille added. Protection against your pets crawling out of the open hole and also against anything large crawling in. It is suitable for mounting on the other side of the board.

 

 

EDIT: June 02 - I have uploaded the raw model file so that you can adapt the adapter to your size yourself. Prototype - grateful for feedback! 70mm - 150mm - please auto-align it in the slicer.

Measure the inner diameter of your hose and set +1mm tolerance in the tool. After that, you can attach the hose to the adapter using a hose clamp.

A ventilation/protective grille has been added.

It helps prevent pets from crawling through the open vent while also keeping larger objects or animals from entering. It is designed to be mounted on the opposite side of the wall or panel.

I've uploaded the raw source model so you can customize the adapter to your own hose size.

The included model can be adjusted from 70 mm to 150 mm. Please remember to use your slicer's Auto-Orient function before printing.

Measure the inner diameter of your hose and set the tool to +1 mm tolerance. Once printed, you can secure the hose to the adapter using a standard hose clamp.
