Description
⚠️ Disclaimer: This tensioner is not intended for climbing, load-bearing safety applications, or any use where your life depends on it. Use only for non-critical purposes.
Meet TrailGrip, your new favorite hiking companion! This completely print-in-place rope tensioner is perfect for all kinds of outdoor use—whether you're strapping gear to your backpack, setting up a temporary clothesline, or building a shelter with a tarp and rope, TrailGrip has your back!
Designed for ropes up to 10mm in diameter (we recommend 3–4mm minimum for optimal grip), it works without knots and makes securing gear fast and easy. Want to use smaller rope? No problem—scale it down in your slicer to match your setup.
🔧 How to Use:

- Feed one end of the rope through the fixed hole at the back (this side anchors your setup).
- Take the other (loose) rope end and thread it through the opening at the front.
- While holding the gear against the fixed side, pull the rope tight.
- Slide Gear forward along the rope until it engages with the rope.
- Release the rope—the tensioner will auto-grip tighter the more you pull!
No moving parts, no assembly, no nonsense. Just print and hit the trail! 🏕️🌲
🧵 Best printed in PETG or ASA for strength, UV resistance, and long-term outdoor reliability.
