Foldable storage box chair

Description
To meet the various needs of outdoor activities, I designed this foldable storage box chair. It can function as a storage box (with a capacity of approximately 13 liters), a chair, or a small table for placing miscellaneous items. When not in use, it can be folded flat (with a minimum thickness of about 7.5 cm), and the bottom of the box features slots that allow multiple units to be stacked neatly for easy storage. If you enjoy outdoor activities, this is a project you definitely shouldn’t miss!

Assembly
1. Take the two upper frame pieces and glue them together.

2. Insert the rectangular thin panel into the groove of the base, then glue the two base pieces together.
 

3. Place one main hinge at the center hinge position of the base, then place two side hinges at the left and right hinge 
    positions of the base.

4. Connect one long rod with a short rod, insert it through the base and hinges, then connect the other side with 
    another short rod.

5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 until all hinges are assembled between the upper frame and the base.

6. Glue the two tabletop panels and their support ribs together. Once fully dried, place them into the grooves of the
    upper frame to complete the assembly.

NOTE

1. The foldable box chair can support a weight of at least 100 kg.

2. The parts have been reinforced with increased wall thickness to ensure structural strength. However, please inspect 
    all surfaces for visible cracks or signs of fatigue before each use.

3. Pay close attention to the orientation of the side hinges — the grooved side must face downward and outward to avoid 
     interference with the raised sections on the base.
